Summer is not giving up, she will wear him down. I loved these characters. Ryker, a computer nerd is the opposite of outgoing Summer. She is bound and determined to get this money from Ryker by any means necessary. There are many funny moments between these two people as they navigate through their relationship on the path to love. Things heat up as these two spend more and more time together. This is a really great plotline that blends seamlessly with the previous story where Spring falls in love. It is always fun to get to go back and find out what all the pervious characters are up to while living their happy ever after. I love the little town as it sounds like a great place to live and fall in love.

There were a lot of tears because of previous pain from their childhood, with a lot of good humor to balance out the sad parts. There are definitely laugh out loud moments which always makes a story fun. Jul 10, Michelle rated it really liked it Shelves: I love returning to Bliss, Texas! Summer Hadley is easily one of my favorite characters that Katie Lane has written. In previous book, Summer comes across as overbearing and inconsiderate, but I had a feeling that there was more to her than her tough exterior.

Ryker Evans and the town of Bliss helped to bring out her true personality and I couldn't be happier as a reader! I'm going spoiler free with this review, so if you want details you're going to have to read the book. Suffice it to say, the I love returning to Bliss, Texas!

It was, as always, so much fun to get to see all of the friends and family we've come to love in previous books. I think what I loved most about this particular story is that they both had to make the decision to love and trust, and to help each other recognize what it was that they valued in life. For both of them, it was family and a sense of belonging. The fact that Ryker never tried to control Summer was a definite plus in my book!

I loved that he was able to see her in a different way than everyone else, and that he encouraged her to be herself. If you've read the other books in the series, you definitely want to give this one a read. One last thing to add: Ryker is a nerdy hot business man that can rock a pair of Wranglers! That's just a bonus! Jun 20, BookSnuggle rated it it was amazing Shelves: This is Summer Hadley and Ryker Evans story.
